The Sims 4 is available on PC for Windows. You can download it for free now using either the EA app or Steam if you’d like to add the game to your digital library. It’ll only be available for free that way as there are no free discs you can go pick up from the store and install, contrary to when the game first debuted in 2014.

On Steam, head to the official The Sims 4 page and choose “Play Game.” This will launch an installation prompt that will let you install the full game onto your computer. From there, all you need to do is wait for the game to complete its installation. Then you can head to the “Launch Game” prompt in Steam and start playing. The Sims 4 will now be a permanent part of your collection.
