How to Enable and Disable Closed Captions on Crackle (Desktop)
Turning the closed captions on and off on Crackle when you’re watching content in your browser is an easy job, much like it is when using subtitles on HBO Max.
You simply have to go to Crackle.com on your favorite browser, choose what you’re going to watch next, and wait for the ads to be over. Then, do the following:
Move your mouse over the settings cog in the lower right corner. The audio options will appear on the left and the subtitles on the right. By default, the subtitles are Off. If you’re using Crackle on your mobile device, you can still enjoy the content with subtitles. Here’s what you have to do to make this work.
Launch the Crackle app on your mobile device. Find the movie or show you want to watch and press Watch Now. Once the ads are over, tap the cog button. The subtitle options will appear with checkboxes, and you can choose whichever one you want if more are available. Tap Done to make the menu disappear.
And that’s it. If you want to turn close captions off, follow the same steps and uncheck the box.
